On this 1.5-hour Grand City Tour, an English-speaking live guide introduces you to Leipzig’s history, culture and most famous landmarks. From a height of around four metres, enjoy excellent views of the city while your certified guide shares interesting stories, local knowledge and entertaining facts.
The route takes you past Leipzig Zoo, Gohlis Palace and the Waldstraßenviertel, one of Europe’s largest preserved districts of Gründerzeit architecture. Further highlights include St. Thomas Church, the New Town Hall, the Music District, the Old Trade Fair grounds, the MDR complex, the Panometer and the Monument to the Battle of the Nations.
